SoundCloud rolls out Pulse, a dedicated app for artists & creators

The app seeks to provide content makers with more control when managing key accounts. It allows users to share their sounds publicly and privately, track their stats and performance, reply to comments and follow others. At present, it's Android-only, however, a more advanced version is already underway and will launch alongside the iOS release in the near future.

Included in the forthcoming version will be support for more in-depth stats, the ability to edit and upload tracks and further messaging capabilities.

The launch of Pulse is the company's first foray into mobile tools for SoundCloud's community of creators.
