Modus Recordings present the forthcoming Nordfold remix of 'Memories' - with the Cinnamon Chasers original dropping at the start of Spring.
Amsterdam's Nordfold delivers a luminous reinterpretation, transforming 'Memories' into a deep, emotive floor-ready journey. Pairing one of Anjunadeep's most meticulous young producers with the cult cinematic-electronica project of British producer Russ Davies, the remix bridges two distinct musical lineages, Nordfold's contemporary club sensibility and Cinnamon Chasers' richly emotive, genre-spanning songwriting.
Along with a flurry of releases on Anjunadeep, alongside appearances on other pioneering labels such as Watergate, Stil vor Talent and Atlant - Nordfold has been heavily supported by BBC Radio 1 over recent years and has caught the attention of heavyweights including Black Coffee, Rampa, Hernan Cattaneo, Adam Beyer and Marcus Worgull, among many others.
Modus label head Cinnamon Chasers needs little introduction & is the cinematic-electronica, synthwave-pop project of British producer and composer Russ Davies. Russ comes from his own musical lineage, his father (Dave Davies) being founding member of rock band The Kinks, and has spent two decades building one of electronic music's most distinctive cross-genre catalogues through his alias’ Cinnamon Chasers, and psychedelic-electronica Abakus.
Cinnamon Chasers was launched with the hit single 'Luv Deluxe', whose acclaimed video has become a viral hit and won Best Music Video at SXSW & remixed by Anjunadeep's very own James Grant and Jody Wisternoff, along with Scuba (Hotflush).
