Belgian DJ and producer Yves V joins forces with Canadian singer-songwriter Simon Ward on 'In My Dreams', an emotive progressive house track built for both festival stages and late-night listening.
Blending atmospheric melodies, uplifting synths and a powerful progressive house production with Ward’s distinctive vocal delivery, 'In My Dreams' balances emotion and energy in equal measure. The track steadily builds from its melodic foundations into an expansive, euphoric payoff, capturing the feeling of holding onto someone who continues to exist long after reality gives way to memory and dreams.
For Yves V, the release adds another chapter to a career that has established him as one of Belgium’s most internationally recognised electronic artists. A long-standing fixture at Tomorrowland, Yves has appeared on the festival’s mainstage in the double digits, an achievement his official biography describes as unmatched by any other DJ. His global touring history includes performances at Sensation, Mysteryland, Amsterdam Dance Event, Ushuaïa Ibiza, Pacha, Green Valley and World Club Dome, alongside extensive tours throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas.
His productions have earned support from artists including David Guetta, Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Tiësto and Martin Garrix, while his catalogue includes the hundred-million-streamed 'Not So Bad' and the Afrojack and Icona Pop collaboration 'We Got That Cool', which received support from BBC Radio 1 and MTV. Yves V has also released music across leading electronic labels including Spinnin’ Records, Armada, Dharma Records and Controversia.
On 'In My Dreams', Yves V channels that experience into a more emotional side of the dancefloor, pairing his large-scale production instincts with Simon Ward’s songwriting and vocal presence. The result is a progressive house record with a strong melodic core, designed to connect equally through headphones, radio and festival sound systems.
