Universal Music compile rare and forgotten dance remixes for 2016 re-release

The catalogue team at Universal have been busy over the last 18 months, working alongside the Association For Electronic Music to uncover more than 300 rare tracks that they say have only ever been made available as limited edition vinyl.

Universal’s Robin Jenkins says: “Key areas of our catalogue were unavailable to a modern audience, so there were lots of missing reference points to the younger fan on why electronic music sounds the way it does today.”

200 tracks have been made available in the Nightclubbing: Extended playlist that is circulating the streaming world. Expect to hear rarities from the likes of CeCe Peniston, Incognito, Soul II Soul, Donna Summer, Grace Jones and many more.
