SRNDE & KEL - Rinnina / GEKAI

Fresh up on promo, 'Rinnina' is KEL’s debut track in the afro house genre - created in collaboration with SRNDE. The essence of this piece is inspired by a traditional Calabrian folk song, 'Riturnella', made famous by Eugenio Bennato’s version in the 1978 album Musicanova. The main character in the song is a little swallow, asked to carry words of love to a faraway dear one.

One of KEL's standout qualities is her ability to draw from folklore and tradition, bringing local melodies into electronic music production—paying homage to her roots and homeland. This was already evident in the track 'Tarantella', created with Gabry Ponte. In this case, SRNDE handles the track’s sound, where tribal rhythms and Mediterranean melodies blend into an elegant and original afro house piece.

Stay tuned, as promo for 'Rinnina' gets underway.
