Sónar Festival Celebrate 25th Anniversary By Channeling Music To Outer-Space

Barcelona's very own Sónar Festival are transmitting music to GJ 273B, a potentially habitable planet which is 12.4 light years from Earth.

Widespread popular music festival Sónar celebrates its 25th Anniversary next summer.

A festival that goes beyond your ordinary musical performances, but collaborates with a variety of technological associations, will be merging highly talented musicians and technology advances with the rest of our galaxy.

Sónar Calling will be the first ever movement towards contacting planet GJ 273B with support from 33 artists including Nina Kraviz, The Black Madonna, Laurent Garnier and Kode9.
