Hungarian born, Dubai-based, Tom Noize is one of the leading figures in the contemporary trance and main room house scene. He counts legends like Ferry Corsten, Chicane and Aly & Fila as fans of his work. His videos pick up hundreds of thousands of views and he hosted Hungary’s #1 dance radio show, interviewing stars like Armin van Buuren and Hardwell among others. Now with his own radio show ‘Noize Music Sessions’, he’s never far from the charts of sites like DMC, Billboard and Music Week and is sure to blow up even further once the world hears this stunning new single.
‘Unbearable’ features an amazing vocal performance from Sydney-based singer Shelley Harland, an incredibly skilled artist, working across multiple genres. This talented songwriter composes acoustically on guitar but is equally at home in electronic music, collaborating with the likes of Delerium, Ferry Corsten, Morgan Page, Junkie XL and many more, since the start of her career.
Their fantastic collaboration, ‘Unbearable’ is a tender number with perfectly pained vocals from Shelley. Her delivery conveys a true feeling of romantic longing and Tom Noize’s beats and progressive synths are equally heartfelt and sombre. Working in unison the track really gets you where it hurts and is sure to be sung all over the world this summer.
As well as an extended mix, frequent collaborators Oliver Schmitz & Micah Sherman link for a brilliant remix. Barcelona based, Oliver is a close associate of Amnesia and a talent who often tops the Beatport charts, and Micah is his regular production partner and an incredibly skilled violinist, often performing to electronic music in the clubs of Ibiza.
Their remix is one built on a bed of punchy beats and with long tailed pads extending off to the horizon. Stuffed with real feeling and a subtly uplifting nature, it’s the sort of emotive and progressive house cut that DJs like HOSH and Maceo Plex have become known for, and the addition of Micah on live violin gives a haunting, signature tone.
