"Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, Peter Dougherty aka Moon Boots has left his cosmic footprint on the underground electronic scene over recent years, breaking through as a founding member of the influential French Express collective, before earning tastemaker plaudits for his remixes of Robyn, CHVRCHES and George Maple. Over the past 2 years he has taken his sound global with a busy touring schedule taking in some of the world’s best clubs and music festivals.
Moon Boots made his Anjunadeep debut in late 2015 with ‘Red Sky’, a cult favourite with support from Annie Mac, Skream, Jason Bentley, Jamie Jones, Gorgon City, and more. He returns to the label with ‘Tear My Heart’ feat. Lulu James, the first single to be taken from his forthcoming debut album First Landing, set for release on Anjunadeep this year. He follows in the footsteps of Dusky, Lane 8 and Cubicolor in releasing a debut LP on the acclaimed London based imprint.
