"Somn3um have joined forces with Northern UK powerhouse duo Deep Matter for their new track ‘Romancing’, a summer-tinged house monster.
Taking the tempo up, ‘Romancing’ leads with an uplifting, melodic piano riff and a chopped up vocal designed to ignite dance floors at sunrise or sunset.
The track will be released via Somn3um’s Somn’Thing Records, available on streaming services from 19th August, then to download on 2nd September.
Hailing from Barnsley, Deep Matter are Scott Lowe & Dan Rymer. They started making music together 3 years ago, merging their musical influences of house & techno. Since starting out, they’ve released on the likes of Ministry of Sound, Universal and Selected. They’ve built a steady legion of fans with recent support from the likes of Diplo, EDX, Laidback Luke, Mark Knight, Michael Woods, Tough Love, MK, Danny Howard, The Wideboys, Chocolate Puma and many more!
Somn3um (comprising of David Newsum and Scott Forshaw), have been firing on all cylinders for the first half of 2016, launching their own label Somn’thing Records as well as securing residencies at The Gallery (Ministry of Sound) and Dubai’s biggest club, Zero Gravity, where they have been playing alongside the likes of Hannah Wants, Sander Van Doorn and Danny Howard."
