Could a Craig David and Drake collab be on the cards?

According to David himself, that might well be the case.

After a blinding comeback at the end of 2015 with 'When The Bassline Drops' with Big Narstie, premiered on the Kurupt FM/1Xtra takeover, David says a collaboration with Drake could very well happen in 2016, after they bumped into one another at a restaurant recently.

Speaking to 1Xtra, he said: "When the time is right, when it's really right, and there's the Craig David/Drake mixtape, I promise you, not on a 'Get gas, beg a man to be on his record' kind of thing, because he's the hottest thing right now. But he'd easily be like, 'yeah man I want to do that.'

"When I saw Drake in this restaurant, we walked up to each other and there was this moment. I was like, 'Oh man 'Hotline Bling' is all I'm listening to.' And he was like, 'Man I need to call my producer'".

Though we might have to wait a while for the Drake/David mixtape, 2016 looks to be a big year for the 'Fill Me In' singer after he announced collaborations were already in the works with Diplo, Kaytranada, Goldlink and Chase & Status.
